In this role, Brian is responsible for the following functions within the business: Loan brokering, consulting and underwriting. Brian most recently served as CEO and majority stockholder for Knightco, Inc. There he was responsible for raising financing through shareholders, loans, leases, and factoring.

He was also in charge of all receivable planning and the accounts payable and receivable portions of the company. At Knightco, Brian was able to raise over $600,000 for a corporation that started with seed money of only $1000. He sold the corporation one year after incorporation for $140,000 over the cost of startup, negotiating the deal and even putting together the loan package for the buyer of the corporation.

Prior to that, Brian served as V.P. of Operations for the Victoria Banquet Group, a mid-size multi unit operation. At the Banquet Group, he was in charge of all the sales, accounts receivable and payable, and operations department. His cost control measures helped save the company over $500,000 in controllable costs from the previous year and his innovative sales program motivated his sales team to exceed quota for the first time in 7 years.

Brandon Chick graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Business Management.  Since then, Brandon has opened up 14 businesses for 1 corporation over a 5 year period as well as opening 4 businesses on a consulting level for private owners.  Brandon has a strong background for being aggressive for the business owner to secure funds to either start or sustain a business.  Brandon has been recently promoted to Loan Officer for the In-House Lending programs that SLS brought on in 2006.

Brandon’s general philosophy is that there are so many people out there promising the world and not delivering in this industry, from banks to other brokers and other hard money lenders.  If he can help them fund, he will give them a Letter of Interest or broker agreement.  His goal is to not waste his client’s time or money in hopes to secure a solid working relationship. 

Mike graduated Illinois State University with a degree in Business Management and a Minor in Computer Science.  Since then Mike has climbed up the corporate ladder with companies such as Knightco and OSI before recently joining our team.  Along with his corporate experience, he has consulted and helped in the opening of several small business ventures. 

Mike has a genuine and sincere personality which carries directly over into his work here at SLS.  Mike’s main focus is to help the everyday business owner obtain financing in as quickly a timeframe as possible.  Mike prides himself on bringing several different loan packages to each client so that the client may make an educated decision on the best loan package available for their situation.
